PAUL PECK III was born in 1666 in Hartford, CT. He signed a will on 3 May 1748 in Litchfield, CT. Will states that son Paul to pay to his sister, Elizabeth (Peck) Webster, and to his sister Leah (Peck) Bissel. He was buried in Dec 1751 in West Burying Ground, Litchfield, CT. Headstone reads: "Here lies ye / Body of Mr. Paul / PECK he died Decbr / ye 21st 1751, in ye 86th / year of his age " He died on 21 Dec 1751 in Litchfield, CT. Moved to Litchfield, CT between 1717 and 1720 with brother John when he was a young adult and was one of the first settlers there. He and his brother John took an active part in the Indian War. In fact, according to Benjamin Peck, Paul's grandson, Paul and his younger brothers were the first to carry guns into Litchfield, CT.

Referred to in Deacon Paul Peck's will as receiving "...all right title and interest in and to that land on the east side of the Connecticut River lying five miles in length from the east end westerly, which as purchased by the Towne of Hartford of (from?) Joshua an Indian, Unncas his son,." Parents: Paul PECK Jr. and ELIZABETH BAYSEY.
